10,000 reasons to say thank you!

 In books

Actually, there are not 10,000 reasons to say thank you. There are, as of yesterday, 10,240 reasons to thank you. That’s because I am delighted, staggered and humbled to announce that WW1: A Layman’s Guide has now sold 10,240 copies (paperback and Kindle versions) through Amazon sites worldwide!

I am not one for self-congratulatory posts, and I know 10,000 copies over a number years is far from JK Rowling levels of success, but for me, someone who is not a historian, not an academic, but just likes to write about history as a hobby more than anything – this is quite something.

Therefore I want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of the 10,240 people across the world who have supported me over the years. I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate it.

And for anyone who has not yet managed to read it, I have lowered the price of the Kindle version to just 99p / 99c for the duration of the lockdown – however long that takes.
