Historical Deals for Black Friday and Christmas

 In books

This year, in the run up to Black Friday and Christmas, I am having a big clear out of the book stock that I am holding in my study – this means that I have a limited number of books and postcards that I am selling directly to readers for a significant discount over the RRP. Unlike many of the Black Friday deals you will see over the next day or so, my books are definitely true bargains!! I have listed them all on eBay, for both convenience and ease for me but also peace of mind and security for you.

Details of all the items I have on sale are below – I hope you find something of interest. Postage to any UK address is free and they would all make fabulous Christmas Presents and I can sign/dedicate any book to give it that personal touch. And if that wasn’t enough, 10% of each sale through eBay will be donated to Help for Heroes!

Fantastic book, beautifully illustrated and a handy size to read on the go, highly recommend. (Gary – Amazon reviewer)

Heroes of World War I

Heroes of World War I

In 1914 they were accountants, shopkeepers and labourers going about their day-to-day business. Suddenly, as war was declared, they became soldiers, sailors and airmen, fighting in the mud of the trenches, navigating the high seas or flying in the very first aerial war. These are the stories of fourteen normal men who were suddenly whisked away from their homes and families, pushed to their very limits and forever changed by what they experienced. Not all of them returned.

Highly recommended. I really enjoyed the personal nature of this book. It provided real insight into the soldiers lives! (Matt O – Amazon reviewer)
