Waterloo: A Layman’s Guide

First of all I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Personally I would like to thank each and every one of you for your fantastic support that you have shown me over the past twelve months! You guys are simply amazing!

Christmas is traditionally a time of giving, and I wanted to show my appreciation by giving you something – so from now until New Year’s Day the Kindle version of my book Waterloo: A Layman’s Guide is completely free on Amazon stores worldwide until New Year’s Day!

2015 saw the 200th anniversary of The Battle of Waterloo – a battle which ushered in a prolonged period of peace and prosperity across Europe that hadn’t been seen for a long, long time.

Following in the style of the other Layman’s Guides this is a relatively short narrative that is more like a chat over a cup of tea rather than a heavy historical text. I have tried to make the story flow naturally albeit without mountains of detail. The chapters here are purposefully written to be short, sharp and to the point, perfect for dipping in and out of whenever the fancy takes you.

I hope you are able to take advantage of this opportunity to learn a bit more about the Battle of Waterloo for no cost –  my way of saying ‘thank you’.
